Peter and the Wolf and Other Works is a family-friendly production with a little something special for everyone to enjoy. In addition to the classic story ballet of Peter and the Wolf, we are proud to present Dennis Spaight’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” with the special permission of the Dennis Spaight Choreography Trust, as well as other innovative works by renown contemporary choreographers. The MAC Dancers will also return to join us again as this year’s guest performers. For the young artists, this program is a wonderful opportunity to learn new styles of movement and expand their understanding of dance as a performance art. With this sense of exploration and discovery, Peter and the Wolf and Other Works makes the richness of this art form tangible by creating a bridge between the classical and the contemporary for all ages to enjoy.
